3rd, 5th, and 6th periods

Today, I checked off lesson A#2 and A#3 procedure pictures.  Then students completed the first section of the lab (steps 1-9).  We will finish the lab on Monday.

Journals are due tomorrow, November 10th

Today, we continued with A#2.  Students filled in the data table, and then worked on the analysis, making sense, stretching, and practice (2-6).  Lesson A#2 will be due at the start of the next class period.  Also, students need to draw procedure pictures for A#3.  Those are also due at the start of the next class period.

Monday, November 7th

Today, we finished A#1 (checked off).  Then we started on A#2 with an in class activity.  There will be time in the next class period to work on the rest of A#2.

I also handed out Journal rubrics.  The journals are due Thursday, November 10th.

4th period

I checked of Alchemy #1.  Then students watched a video called Discovering the Elements.  They also answered questions to go with the video.  We will finish the video on Monday and you will turn in the questions.
