Monday, October 31st

Today, I handed tests back and went over the key.  I also explained how to do test corrections to earn back 75% of missed points.  If you are not happy with your score, corrections need to be done by next Monday (November 7th).  We also started the Alchemy unit with a unit ChemCatalyst. For the next class period, please draw pictures for Alchemy #1 Procedure, Parts 1 and 2.

Today we finished MM#10 with notes and a check in.  Then students had time to work on the review.  Answers to the review can be found here.

3rd and 6th periods

In class, we finished MM#9 by doing some notes and the check in.  We then started MM#10.  Instead of the lab, I showed a computer simulation that can be viewed to answer questions 4 - 7.  You don't need to do Analysis 1-3.  To finish, do questions 8-13 and the practice questions.  The making sense question is extra credit.

Also, the review for the test Friday was available.

Monday, October 24th

Students who did the lab Friday had time to do analysis, making sense, and practice for MM#9. Students who were absent made up the lab.  MM#9 and pictures of the procedure for MM#10 are due at the beginning of the next period.

Also, there will be a test on Friday.  I will hand out a review during the next class.

Today, we finished MM#6 by looking at the making sense, some notes, and answering a Check-in question.  Students were asked to read the background for MM#7 and write 1 key point.  Also, students needed to draw pictures of the procedure for MM#7.  Both of these things are due at the start of the next class period.
